Until CUSA institutes a rule barring games against D2 schools, it will keep happening.

RE: 2017 basketball
I'm a bit disappointed. I wanted to take advantage of the season ticket double-header special they have going on today, but they way they have it set up I wouldn't be able to leave between the men's/women's games (I need to pick up a friend who's joining me for the men's game). So I might just have to go home for a few hours.

Even worse, Charlotte just played D-III Methodist.

I'm sorry, but why even schedule these games. I have followed college basketball closely for 40 years and have never heard of them. These types of games KILL the strength of schedule for our conference.
I agree 100%. P5 schedule midmajors to get ready for conference play because it is so grueling. Also some mid majors add value to their SOS. Mid majors should never play DII schools or lower. C-USA teams need to be scheduling other strong mid major teams to add to their SOS so that if they are on the bubble come march and they see you played VCU, Middle Tenn, Saint Marys, UNLV, and other strong mid major programs. Playing Trevecca Nazarene does absolutely nothing to help your schedule and actually hurts you. Pathetic that 6 C-USA teams are opening with DII teams.
Here are some of the other beauties CUSA schools are playing over the next week:
Eureka, Florida Memorial, Texas-Tyler, East Central, Edward Waters and Lemoyne-Owen
If CUSA schools are opening with these schools, who did they play in a scrimmage? Maury High School? Bluefield school for the deaf and blind?
Heck Maury might be some of these schools listed, if not the CUSA teams scheduling this garbage.
Actually now that I think of it. Maybe the CUSA bottom feeders are the exhibition lowlifes the P5 schools play in their exhibition games.

Richmond is losing by 33 points to Jacksonville St at home right now. About 2 minutes left.
So glad TJ Cline is finally gone

Is Jacksonville State really that good, or is Richmond really that bad, or both?

Well, Delaware ran up a 33-point lead on them at Robins Center a few nights ago and won by 15, so I'd say UR is not a very good team, at least to start the season.

NC State is playing "Bryant" college tomorrow night, two nights after playing Charleston Southern. Where is Bryant?

Bryant is an upper half NEC team and probably better than most teams CUSA schools are hosting this week.

MTSU goes down to Murray State. Charlotte getting curb stomped by OK State. Same OOC, same CUSA.
