Sometimes you get the unexpected...
It seems some pagan in West VA wanted to get rid of prayer at high school football games.
Quote:Toward the end of last year’s football season at West Virginia’s Clay County High School, someone apparently didn’t like the tradition of a prayer said over the loudspeakers before games — and told the school board so.
With that, the district decided that a moment of silence would be observed instead.
Of course, the ol' unintended consequences thing happens...
Prayer over loudspeakers banned at HS football games. Watch how players from both teams react.

Sometimes being "behind the curve" is a pretty good thing.

Good for them. I don't think I could show my face around town knowing that my lone voice caused something like that. Self serving and petty actions like this are a hallmark of special interests.

I love stories like this. Would just love to be sitting next to the fool who stirred this up and smiling while those boys prayed on the field.

That person has more than likely returned to his/her parent's basement.
