RE: EIU predictions
Wish I was going to be there for the game. Enjoyed going "back home" for the BC, and it was a great weekend, except for the loss, of course. Great weather, great tailgating, and hearing people speak english without a New York accent.

Gave my season tickets to some family who said they'll be going to the Saturday games.

Now awaiting the latest hurricane, which is tracking right for my house in Palmetto Bay (south Dade County).
DeKalb isn't looking so bad right now.

Huskies beat EIU, offense rolls, defense smothers.

RE: EIU predictions
It's not Santa's first rodeo, he runs well might have a pick or two but defense smothers and offense gets rolling, Huskies by 21. Potential shut out for the D.
Alvah Hansbro coaches at Eastern.

EIU- 17
NIU- 42

I stand by my prediction, even with the injury news. If Graham and Santa were so close in camp, Santa should be able to do just fine against EIU.

RE: EIU predictions
Santa will bring a much more consistent running attack for the Huskies. He's tougher, stronger, faster, and more instinctive. That will also open up the passing game and if the defense continues to play like it did against BC, we will roll. I was afraid of a lethargic offense affecting the defense but I think you will see Santa and Huff run for huge yardage.
NIU 48, EIU 13.

NIU - 42
EIU - 21

Most of EIU's points come in garbage time after the game has already been decided.

First time attendance vs EIU is under 20k since the East stands were built.

RE: EIU predictions
I must ask all fans attending this game to please behave yourselves. The game will be webcast in living color on ESPN3.com to millions of adoring fans and potential recruits around the nation, and it is important for us to show everyone what a mature, well-behaved group of fans we are. As such, I promise to keep my hands off myself (which will be tough for 3 hours) and to wolf down hot dogs only during the commercial beaks.

We must impress the big bosses at ESPN (who will be watching this game) so maybe - seeing how well-behaved we are - they'll extend the contract for another 8 to 10 years.

EIU fans have been to known to want to mix it up a little I would recommend best behavior just for that reason

Hopefully they aren't as obnoxious as the WIU fans last year.

For some reason EIU fans have that little brother mentality more than other in state schools. Not sure why. Kind of like Illinois state fans

Hmm, I don't recall any issue with EIU fans for the last game. Can't remember where I was sitting for that one though...
