Be surprised if anyone kicks to him the rest of the year. Wow.
Columbia was a blast. Went to Shakespeare's on your recommendation as was not disappointed. Great fans as well.
Glad you had a great time. Looks like this storm may spare you guys. Good deal.
I was worried all week. Had a 10pm sunday flight coming back and there was talk earlier in the week about interstate closures. Glad we're gonna miss most of it

Local media(Bham) this morning is upping the criticism for Malzahn. It might be hard for him to survive this season.

Gus is the problem. We have athletes. But above Gus there's even a bigger problem. Jay Jacobs needs to go too. I don't have the time to get into the issues around Jacobs, but I'm sure in the months ahead more issues surrounding him will come out. And I'm not talking recruiting violations either. His management of a softball situation is going to eventually blow up and when it does I hope his butt gets hammered! No Jacobs, and it is much easier to get rid of Malzahn.

Looking at it from the outside it appears that Malzahn is good at managing the program and doing the CEO type of things required. He just can't run the offense anymore and other teams seem to have caught up to his playbook.

He recruits well. He can't manage the program. He micromanages and drives the competent coaches away. The only one he trusts is the DC because Gus doesn't know anything about defense. QB coaches, OC's, RB coaches, and WR coaches get run over by Gus.
He was a one trick pony with the hurry up running game. Everybody caught up and caught on and now he has a hard time because he can't change.
