It's accurate historically speaking.....many of the southern gentlemen look like clueless halfwits, who don't know they can't possibly win. And the South burns in it,
and the wounded and dead are laid out in droves...the moaning and pleading is horrible.

But the color is stunning in that movie. I dunno if I ever sat through the whole thing, but I once made a Yankee boyfriend watch it.
'You'll understand me better,' I told him...lmao.

Technicolor they call it I think.
