But another Rice player has outdone him tonight as once again Rendon is having a monster game for the Nats. He's 2x2 with 2 homers and 6 RBI (and 2 walks). The Nats by the way have the top 3 batters in the NL in batting average, and at the pace Rendon has been at lately, he may move into the top 5 in the league in that category too. I think they play at MMP next month? I imagine the local media will really be able to publicize his great year when they are in town (I would say a potential World Series preview, although it's tough to say Washington is more of a World Series favorite than the Dodgers).

2 hits and a walk in .2 innings. He has been struggling recently, giving up 13 hits in July over only 4.2 innings.
