H2P what a great season!!!
We beat the ACC and the Big10 champs. We also should have beat the Big 12 runner up. Congrats to Clemson but we are holding down the northeast! Dont get me wrong i love the ACC but northeast football is still strong.

Paul Chryst looked like a frightened deer in headlights this past Saturday night. He had one freaking job to do.

Isn't "Northeast Football" part of the ACC now?

Half. BC, Syracuse and Pitt vs Penn State, Rutgers and Maryland. Unless you want to include Army, Navy and Temple? (Sorry UConn)

RE: H2P what a great season!!!
Rutgers' unofficial slogan is:
"Rutgers football. Turning the corner since 1869."
Honestly, I have some good friends that are RU alums and we talk about this all the time. I cannot figure out why they can never seem to get thei act together? It's a good school, it's located in a great area, the campus is decent, their facilities are pretty good, etc. They even get pretty strong support.
And yet, for whatever reason, they always seem to stink. Greg Schiano did build them to a pretty good spot a few years ago. They weren't great even at their apex but they were better than they've ever been in my lifetime - and I am no spring chicken.
Honestly, I see what the Big 10 saw in them. They seem to check off all the boxes of what it takes to be successful. However, for whatever reason, they can never seem to quite get there.
One final story.
I distinctly remember being a little boy and Rutgers was playing at Pitt. I had to be somewhere around seven or eight years-old and I was with my dad and his buddies in a bar just down the hill from old Pitt Stadium.
Anyway, I distinctly remember them having a conversation about how Rutgers was a sleeping giant and how if it ever got its act together, RU could become a monster of a program.
That was several decades ago and people are still having those exact same conversations about the program right now.
Because I do have a personal connection to RU alums, I have a little bit of a soft spot for that program. I don't take any pleasure in pointing the Scarlet Knights' perpetual struggles. However, I'm not sure that I consider them a sleeping giant as much as a program that has a lot of tools but also has a lot of challenges.

RE: H2P what a great season!!!
Oh, and believe me, I am under no delusions whatsoever that Pitt is some great program. However, we have been a great program in my lifetime. The best Rutgers has ever been has been mediocre and even that has been fairly rare.
