They were 7-4 last year and were within 11 points of being 9-2

But 2 big losses were Ole MS 76-3 and Arkansas 63-28

Anything less than a 5 TD win would be disappointing.

With our wide outs I'm not sure we beat a high school by 5 TDs.

Boone, Green, Buckley and Bansbach should run wild. Passing will be optional.

I read a preview of UTM. They lose nearly everybody on both sides of the ball and will be playing a lot of underclassmen.

While I question whether we are good enough to beat anyone by 5 TDs, I don't think it will be close.

Simply put, it had better NOT be close.

Wear White

The match ups in this game work in our favor.

our strength this year is the run game and UTM runs a 3-3-5 defense. We should run for a bunch of yards Thursday.

Their strength on offense is their group of WRs. However they are breaking in a new QB and we finally have depth in the secondary (not to mention Coach Hilhammer) had these guys pressing these guys on the lines as opposed to back-pedaling as Clink had them

It looks great on TV. Of course this game isn't being nationally televised, but yeah. When you see a sea of one color filling a stadium, I think it screams "big-time football" and helps our perception.

I think it worked well for Fresno. I cannot remember how well it worked for Purdue. White Outs work best early in the season versus Oct/Nov. Everyone has a white t-shirt. P5 schools never seem to have an issue with their color games.

Purdue was one of the best, probably because it was insanely hot that day.

They gave out a jillion white T-shirts commemorating the game for Fresno. Not just at the gate. Literally had people with boxes walking the tailgate lots. That helps.

I was at that game. We detonated Purdue that day. The heat was absolutely brutal. I think the white out will be cool. Tickets are going for $6 on stubhub. No reason not to be there.

Only game I recall UC blowing it bad with the all whites was the Sugar Bowl. Maybe Temple game last year, can't remember. UC has lost 5 home game the last 5 years (1/season) and I know they were not all white outs.

White out does look good - when everyone wears it. UC needs to do it like the Fresno game in 09, everyone got a shirt. Got to help the casuals out, they never seem to know.
