Track & Field at Kansas Relays
Claire Uke has won the women's shot put; Evan Karakolis won the men's javelin; and Cali Roper won the 5,000 meters. Rice has had a few second place finishes , as well.
Additionally, in what might be an NCAA record, all 4 of Rice's men pole vaulters no-heighted.

In winning the javelin competition, Evan Karakolis broke his own school record. His throw of 79.30 meters (260' 2") moves him to #3 on the NCAA list for 2016.
Winning conference won't be easy, however, because C-USA is the best for men's javelin: 4 of the top 10, and 5 of the top 13 are in this conference.

Wow big jump there (in performance, obviously it's a throwing and not a jumping event). Who are the best bets we've got to score any points at NCAA meet? Uke looks to be down a bit in shot put compared to two years ago.
