The folks in question are mentally ill. This isn't a civil rights issue. This is how society deals with damaged individuals.

So some random dude pulls down his pants in front of a woman in a parking lot = indecent exposure, sex offender registry, criminal record, etc.
Same random dude pulls down his pants in a woman's bathroom = self expression that women in that bathroom must accommodate?

Store policy

So if the store happened to be owned by Christians had a store policy to not make wedding cakes for gay weddings, you'd support that, as well, right? Store policy and all.....

My position would be the store, in this case, discriminated against a young girl by allowing a man in the restroom with her.

If a guy who feels like a woman can't use the ladies room it's discrimination. If a lady can't use it because a mans in there... well, just tough ****.

Response I expected, with the logic that this individual's rights to use the other sex's bathroom trumps everyone else's right to privacy.
Now, how do you think the courts would rule on the obvious "reckless endangerment" case when a REI customer is raped in said bathroom by some random dude who claims he feels like a lady, with his presence there completely sanctioned by REI store policy?
How comfortable as a parent would you be if your pre-teen or teenage daughter had to use the facilities, not knowing if some dude is in there or not, and not knowing his intentions?
Absolute stupidity.
And even if some women could deal with a dude the next stall over, the hygiene issues of piss dribbles on the seat from dudes for those that have to squat to pee would be unbearable.

Walmart has "family restrooms " use them at your own risk.
