I've included BYU in these standings every week. Before the season, not 1 person protested. You were happy when I included BYU in them after the UCF win 2 weeks ago. What changed now? I'd be happy to omit BYU from this if it makes YOU happy, but before I do read below.
Here's a quote from a CUSA/MAC fan a few weeks back, "BYU isn't on the same level as the P5+ND, you've just added them to bump up AAC.....
Examples of defending BYU in these rankings:
KNIGHTTIME: "What is funny the original post counted byu well before the ucf game and when the league was 0-1 against them. Now it is all of a sudden an issue counting byu as a big win.""I'm glad you're counting BYU since we will hopefully get a win too."
Mike the Knight: "Thanks for being concerned enough to come over to our board and try to regulate how to track "big" wins"
"There isn't many schools that could support a whole network even in the p5 schools. They have a P5 program even if the country club doesn't let them in the door."
YoungKnight: "If you have a tv channel, you are pretty big"
Pesik: "perception wise beating byu is a lot better than beating the bottom half of the P5"
StillJonesing: "Any program capable of drawing 65 friggen thousand fans in losing season like BYU has IS a big time program. Period. That's like top 25 in the entire nation and 3 times as many as your stadium even holds I bet. The fact they have been in the top 25 this year as well only validates that win beyond that. We draw like a mid level P5 program, they draw like a top level one. Educate yourself."
"65 ******* thousand people a game in losing seasons. Nuff said"------I'll end there, but you get the point.
