One is a proud athletic department with multiple national championships across several sports and the other is a private school with a has-been basketball program in a second rate conference.
Hahahaha are you guys going to actually win a big time game anytime soon? How much hype can one school continue to get without actually accomplishing anything of substance? Where's that Tahj Boyd Heisman?
Oh and an ACC fan calling the Big East second rate is really funny. The record books still show that the Big East still has more BCS bowl wins than the ACC. hahahahaha
I certainly hope so. Beating a Top 10 LSU team last season in the Chick-fil-a Bowl and opening the season with a win over a Top 5 Georgia team on national television wasn't enough.
On that train of thought, is St. John's ever going to win a big game?
Yes, the ACC is horrible. So horrible in fact it stripped the Big East of everything it had of value. How many teams with BCS wins are still in the Big East again?
I do have a serious question. How's it going to feel getting upstaged by the ACC Tournament in your own town despite the ACC getting the second best venue?
Upstaged by Clemson fans...in regards to Basketball...in NYC? hahaha Okay, Duke, UNC, UofL and Cuse will bring a ton a fans. But who else is going to come to NYC? FSU, Miami, UVA, VT, BC, ND, WF, GT??? hahahaha Yeah, i'm sure they're gonna pack the house in Brooklyn. hahaha
You also gotta love bragging about beating an unranked team. "B-B-But they were ranked in the top 5 at the time of the game!" hahaha

Boardwalk Hall will be their next stop.
Richmond and Dayton would be good places for the A-10 tournament, though most of the league probably doesn't want to give anyone a home-court advantage.
Yeah, that's been brought up. Lot of fans have brought up Philadelphia.

No, but we sure as hell we're a lot louder than those Cuse fans in the Garden last Sun! And if we're not that great whats that make you guys who almost lost "at home" to us lowly Johnnies. Weren't impressed with the #2 team in the country. Missed FT's allowed you guys to escape with a win.

Missed field goals must be the reason that SU has won the last 14 out of 15 games. Saint Johns only lead for about 60 seconds the whole game and was down by as many as 14 points. Whether SU won by one point or 20 points, you still lost, AGAIN. That said, Saint Johns seems to improved this year and should get to the tourney.

You Cuse fans sure were worried for those "60 seconds". If I remember correctly they were awfully quite for the first 19 minutes of the second half.

I'm shocked, shocked, that a post about the ACC playing in Brooklyn, imagined by the OP as being a victory of the BigTen, has descended into a slanging match between Syracuse and St. John's fans. I repeat: shocked! !! !1!

Bud...that was really uncalled for. Let's keep the smack talk...good-natured. SJU is improved this year and I think they'll be a 9-12 seed...I'm glad the game was competitive. I hope we can split MSG in half and have a game there every year.
