Looks to me like women's basketball is on the way back. This young lady is tall, athletic, takes it to the hoop, shoots strongly from outside, has good basketball instincts -- welcome aboard Hannah!

Looks like Hannah will definitely help, we need one more girl 6'4" or above.

We heard before that with the 5 signed she expected 4 more in the spring.

I assume this is one of those.

In all honesty, I'm hoping for a Juco and a Grad transfer to spread the classes some. Would hate to have 9 freshmen next year.

Nine — or more — freshmen wouldn’t be bad at all. Might be rocky in first year, but wouldn’t it be great to have depth and contsistency from year to year. Anyway, Hanna and the other recruits look very good. Some likely better than others I’m sure, but numbers are fantastic. With Coach Nikki’s leadership, good things are ahead for the program.

Not sure how often it happens in women's B-ball but you could spread the class out some by redshirting 4-5.

They can spread the 9 out by redshirting 4 or 5.

I know about redshirting.

If you bring in 9 freshmen but redshirt several, you in effect slow down the turnaround. If you bring in a combination of some JuCos and grad transfers you get experienced people ready to play. No redshirting, no delays, and you spread the classes out some. Added benefit, grad transfers are typically one year players. You get that or those scholies back immediately for 2019 recruits.

That would depend solely on the quality of the players recruited. If you can get 9 3* or 4* freshman, get them. They will be juniors and seniors before long and the turnaround would be complete.

On the flipside, if you can add some Jucos and transfers that can help you win next year, bring them in.

In short, get the best players you can get, regardless of class.
