Crunch time. Final 4 minutes of the first half, down by 7. Lets see if they close the score or widen the gap....in about 4 or 5 offensive possessions.

Wow! They actually closed the gap from 7....to 4 by halftime, thanks to a couple of turnovers by UTEP and several UAB offensive rebounds.

This game is very winnable....IF they restrict themselves to one turnover every eight minutes like they did in the final eight minutes of the first half. The nine turnovers in the first thirteen minutes was a huge wake up call on being more cautious about taking care of the ball. Also they forced several turnovers to close out the first half and cashed in on a couple of them.

Time out after 4 minutes of the second half. 4 turnovers + 4 missed shots = 0 points scored in the second half, compared to 7 points scored by UTEP.
