That's because CUSA >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sun Belt.

No one is saying it isn't.... But let me tell you something. We are coming for you. And with the CUSA losing Houston, UCF, SMU the gap
Just got cut by a MILE!!!!

Still tho my point stands MTSU > Memphis

Memphis lost to the 2nd worst team in the SBC and
Got handed a blowout by ASU.... Congrats Memphis. You are to Tennessee as UA'sB is to Alabama....

The Tigers have been to five bowls in the last decade. The same as ASU and MTSU combined.

and yet you can't beat MT 3 out of 4 games.

Unfortunatetly for you, CUSA was ten miles in front of the Sun Belt.

As for your second point, you're just wrong.

This is true. MT and Memphis football wise? You can just look at the results. MT 3, UM 1. Therefore, MT > UM.

The gap isn't far. Honestly if CUSA stays with its current teams it has for next year I'd stay they are pretty much equal.

Btw if Memphis were in the SBC I bet money they wouldn't have 5 bowls.... Maybe not even 1

RE: Rumors of USM dropping game @WKU
Houston was the only big loss. SMU is a middle of the pack team and UCF is up-and-down.

As for the gap:

1 BIG 12
2 SOUTHEASTERN
3 BIG TEN
4 PAC-12
5 BIG EAST
6 I-A INDEPENDENTS
7 ATLANTIC COAST
8 CONFERENCE USA
9 MOUNTAIN WEST
10 WESTERN ATHLETIC
11 MID-AMERICAN
12 SUN BELT

You're still in dead last in FBS.

Nope. The Big XII had 11 teams in the top 53. The SEC had 10. UK and Ole Miss dropped the SEC below the Big XII.

After Nevada, Fresno State, and Hawaii leave the WAC, you'll be ahead of them. But that's it.

Top to bottom, you're in last. That's where you've been the last decade.

RE: Rumors of USM dropping game @WKU
The simple fact is Middle Tennessee is 3-1 against Memphis since this rivalry renewed in 2007, and Memphis has accumulated a 2-6 record against all Sun Belt schools since 2007. If the standard of success is measured in the win/loss record, Memphis has not been very successful against Middle Tennessee nor the Sun Belt Conference over the past five years.

Memphis is 67-51-7 against the current members of the Sun Belt.

Therefore, Memphis > the Sun Belt.

You're counting games back since 1912?? The SBC has only had football for about 11 years. Pffft!

Not to mention, the vast majority of our series with Memphis St has been played in Memphis, and includes the years when we were in a lower division.

You're still in a lower division. It's called the Sun Belt.
