Tom kept in restraints because he is worried he is not safe for the team. Hal and Margret flirting with each other. Tom's tracking device just went flying away on its own.

Ben lies to Weaver about some of what he saw on an investigation, and he is slowly but surely turning very skitter-like

We find out skitter ships are communicated to wirelessly. Knock down the antenna, ships dont go anywhere.

They all get a cross a bridge and pope nearly blows up Tom in the process. Tom survives, but we find out he is being watched by a one eyed skitter.

Then we get some incredibly incredibly creepy previews in which we see Ben is communicating with skitters, they find a harness factory, and some creepy previews involving Karen.

Yeah its pretty obvious they are not afraid to take it wherever they need to. What I like is that there are still lots of questions. Why are the aliens here? What do they want? And why havent they just nuked the remaining population? Why offer a reservation? Also, where is Rick. They said that one day he was there and the next he was gone. (Foreshadowing?)

Yeah its pretty obvious they are not afraid to take it wherever they need to. What I like is that there are still lots of questions. Why are the aliens here? What do they want? And why havent they just nuked the remaining population? Why offer a reservation? Also, where is Rick. They said that one day he was there and the next he was gone. (Foreshadowing?)

Rick has been seen in previews of later in the season. I have heard that a harnassed Karen is going to have an increased role as the spokeswoman for the leader of the tall gray people (For want of a better term for those ugly things)

Ben is going to be the focus of this season, you can just see it coming by how the militia was using him. Why on earth did they go from not trusting him to letting him go on solo missions into skitter land? Another unanswered question.

Desperation

Episode 3 of the season is tonight. Pretty enjoyable so far.

Ben goes to attack what im guessing is the head skitter, a red eye thing that has been stalking the group all season, and the skitter literally holds his arm up and stops him matrix style. And his former harness started glowing.

Skitters ignoring planes? Interesting.

I cant believe they just killed off Jimmy. Maybe Ben has some alien tricks up his sleeve, but he was the innocence of the series.

Tom beats Pope down in a fight. Pope leaves in a fury, Anthony chooses to go with him because he owes him.

Red Eye skitter continues to stalk the group as they head south to Charleston where the supposed new government is being set up.

Next Week: They discover a factory to hide in, only to find out its a factory where the skitter's make harnesses, and one of Tom's sons might end up with a new piece of alien fashion if they arent careful.

I just watched all three episodes of the new season last night as I've been waiting for a buddy to watch my season 1 blu ray that I lent to him...

1) What's going on with the red eye skitter and Ben's spikes? Are they communicating? Is the skitter extracting information? Is the skitter turning Ben?

2) What exactly did the little parasite do? Presumably it took information from Tom and gave it to the skitter, but who knows if there's more to it than that...

3) Do you think we'll actually see Charleston this season?

1. Ive been working on this theory that the Red eyed skitter is the head skitter or something, and that in that way he can communicate with any harnassed kids, as opposed to other skitters who cant.

2. I have no idea what it took. Obviously it wasnt tactical information they were after because it left pretty quickly. It would seem the information they wanted was specifically about Tom.

3. I cheated and read the press release that gave a 2 second preview of each of the 10 episodes this season, and the final episode is scheduled to take place in Charleston.

4. I really think this entire season is focusing on the process of the harness, and what happens to people who get it. Its set up so well, they discover a harness factory next episode, there are previews of Karen sprouting Alien arms and flirting with Ben out in commercials. This season so far, is focused on Ben, and the changes that are happening to him rather slowly.

I was also wondering if the little parasite thing had cognitive abilities while locked in the jar, you would think not, but then I'm not sure I thought it was just going to eat through the glass and fly away either, it's fiction, they could write however they want.

My wife and I were really sad Jimmy died, that sucked. My favorite character is Captain Weaver and Jimmy was like his son. I wonder how it will affect him.

Anyone know when episodes get posted to Amazon to be downloaded?
