The only way we can get a bigger stage is by improving our OOC schedule.
And winning the OOC games.

Looks like we just got a big win! Beat out Indiana and Kansas St. for this guy. With the negative on losing Church this is a nice pick up. Welcome Mike Cotton.

Our LB class just got very strong between him and Perez Ford. Nice pickups this year. We still need a 3* RB to replace the loss of Church. Still time left.

hmmm....Church possibly thinking of decommitting from his decommittment? Still don't understand how playing a big ten team in an nfl stadium when you are the "home team" is not a big enough stage for him.

Just askin', as I'm too lazy to research:
It seems to me that the kids that Verbal in the last few days leading up to Signing Day or commit on Signing Day are the better Recruits.
Yes? No? Maybe so?

Oh, my mistake. I got confused because I read somewhere here that Church said he may have stayed at NIU if the coach recruiting him was still there. So I figured that that coach made a plea for his services. My fault indeed.
In that case. WE ALL CARE VERY MUCH, Devin.

RE: 2012 Recruiting Thread
Vero Beach wide receiver Charlie Miller has canceled his official visit to UCF for this upcoming weekend.
When asked if he would look to re-schedule visit, Miller told the Sentinel, via instant message, that UCF is “no longer an option.”
Miller (5-11, 185) was a high priority for the Knights several months ago but UCF received a verbal pledge from Miami Norland receiver Dareen Owi in January, giving the Knights three commitments from wide outs for the 2012 recruiting class.
UCF is also expecting to host highly-recruited receiver/defensive back Trae Elston (Oxford, Ala.) on Jan. 27.
Miller, who has visited Minnesota and Northern Illinois, plans to take an official visit to Vanderbilt on Jan. 27.

The rumor is that Charlie Miller is goning to Vandy.
Charlie Miller to Vanderbilt
http://www.theringer.com/forums/vanderbi...rbilt.html
Not many players can come in and put up big numbers in highly competitive Florida 8A in their first year of football. That’s exactly what Charlie Miler did in his senior season. The fast-rising 5-foot-11, 185-pound wide receiver has seven scholarship offers, but has trimmed his choices to two schools. Miller talks about the schools and much more with VandyMania.com...

If so that sucks. Would have been a great addition.

Looks like he will not be visiting here anymore, and maybe those grade rumors may have been true...
Twitter is blocked at work. Can someone confirm twitter info.
Confirmed on the tweets but I am not sure about him NOT visiting Illinois.

Without knowing more, it's plausible. If you figure guys who knew their level already committed, so guys who've been strung along by AQ teams now know whether those "big time" opportunities will come their way or not. Now they start committing. Plus there's the guys who came on a lot in their senior seasons and started actualizing their talent more and turned coaches from "maybe" on them to "yes please."
It's enough to form a hunch that some of these late breaking decisions will be among those guys with something to prove that so often make great Huskies and make coaches looks smart.

Off the subject first, great discussion on this recruting board over the last several days everyone! Excellent job working as a team to keep everyone updated on the latest news as we get close to signing day. Kudos to everybody for their efforts.
OK down to business, are we one of his two finalists? I was really hoping we had a shot with this kid considering a friend of his is coming here and they could be a package deal. He would be a great asset adding to our pipeline of Florida receivers: Lewis, and Sebastiano.
Wonder if we will get the Texas pipeline going again? I've heard nothing coming out of there at all this year. Are we recruiting down there?
