Oklahoma falls to Stanford
Oklahoma looked about like the Trojans did shooting the basketball in the first half. After being behind by about 19 at one time, the Sooners made a run and got withing two or three at the end. They might even have won the game had they not let Stanford bet behind them for uncontested layups off the press at the end.

If you saw the game, you can see what a good big can do, offensively and defensively. As many have said before, those female bigs don't grow on trees, and the big boys get most of them, as we're seeing in this tournament.[b] If we just had a good 6'3" who can hit the jumper, a little soft hook with either hand, and pretty good feet than can move and play defense. That's about all our girls are missing.

Another thing I noticed, particularly with Standford, there girls know how to use the glass. They shoot if gently off the glass. Our girls shoot it off the glass so hard that I think we miss more than we make.
