I think we can put to rest the Big South debate
Winthrop got embarrassed by UAPB out of the SWAC (31st rated conference, which they did go 17-4 in, but still....)
being in the play-in is one thing, but you gotta take care of business with the SWAC, at least be competitive.

Sort of put it to bed. While I'll get flamed for this opinion, with budget cuts looming large at ETSU and all Tennessee universities, I am not convinced that the Bucs will be capable of funding the travel required for them to continue to play in a conference that is not a geographic fit.
That said, I watched the Big South Men's finals and the "brand" of basketball played was ugly.
Just my opinion, others mule's mileage may vary.

I agree about their brand being weak in the championship. Then Winthrop laid an egg and Coastal got whipped in the NIT.
