The Cubs are now one win away from reaching a milestone in franchise wins. After defeating the sorry NY Mets for the second day in a row 8-1, stretching their winning streak to 5, the Cubs now have 9,999 wins, and look to be the second franchise to reach that magical number of 10,000 (NY/SF Giants). They travel to Colorado to face the reigning NL champs on Wednesday. GO Cubs GO!!
