How Many Did You Miss?
After the first round of the tournament I had seven wrong picks. I missed on St. Joe over Oklahoma, Vandy over Sienna (Come on, really, who picked this upset?), USC over Kansas St. (I should have gone with my heart and first choice), St. Mary's over Miami, BYU over Texas A&M, Drake over WKU (Yeah! Go Toppers!), UConn over San Diego (This hurt, but San Diego is a pretty good team).

Who honestly lost fewer and more games in round one?

I lost 3 of my seetsixteen so far and Duke is about to go down as well which does even more damage to my bracket.

RE: How Many Did You Miss?
I was only wrong on one game - Temple vs. Michigan State - on Thursday and was feeling pretty good about things. Friday, however, saw me misguessing on Gonzaga vs. Davidson, Vanderbilt vs. Siena, Connecticut vs. San Diego, St. Joseph's vs. Oklahoma, and St. Mary's vs. Miami. I will take 26-6 though. The weekend games are usually where my brackets get blown into all kinds of shredded little pieces.

The only ones I missed were Drake, Gonzaga and UConn. I picked West Virginia over Duke so that's helping alot.

RE: How Many Did You Miss?
Just as I figured, another first Saturday, another busted bracket. It just wasn't a good day for the Big East but that's okay. Villanova is off to a good start this afternoon and I have confidence that Georgetown and Louisville will come through as well. I think, and hope, that I picked the rest of today's games correctly, minus the spot where Connecticut was supposed to punch its Sweet Sixteen ticket, but yesterday seriously reinforced the truism that anything really can happen in the NCAA Tournament.

RE: How Many Did You Miss?
Um, I got blown up today and yesterday. I missed 5 of the 16 games. I picked Notre Shame over WASU, UNLV over Kansas, G'town over Davidson, Pitt over Michigan St., and I had UConn in there too. To top that I had G'town running to the Final Four, and Pitt in the Championship. I'm screwed.

RE: How Many Did You Miss?
half of my final 4 went *POOF*

i thought i had it made when i picked both sienna and nova as upsets, but uconn and georgetown had to go dissapear on me. as long as louisville and michigan state don't crap out on me, i'll be fine. i just hope that the chalk doesn't play out and the top seeds in the other two brackets otherwise i'm going to be done fairly early.

RE: How Many Did You Miss?
Just when I thought things would be okay with my bracket today, Georgetown lets Dell Curry's son and his little buddies come back from the dead, while Butler does not finish off a reachable upset of Tennessee, as I had hoped, and the aforementioned miss with Western Kentucky now being in the place where I had Connecticut still looms large. At least Villanova and West Virginia are still alive, but the losses by the Hoyas, Huskies, Notre Dame, and Pittsburgh have not been kind to me at all.
