Yo.... I had gotten that Master of Puppets Remastered 3CD edition at Wal Mart for $20 a few weeks ago.... finally got around to listening to it...

I can tell that it has some crisper highs and the bass is a little more present...

I've been really enjoying these guys musical reviews, especially the metal ones as the pick stuff I have heard and not heard but give everyone a fair shake IMO.

But anywho, the band the did today, Oceans of Slumber, I don't think I have ever heard a band that sounded like Evanesence and Slayer had a baby.... the crazy **** is it sounds pretty good and so I listened to a few more tracks via youtube

I got 118 degrees and his first with the Ju Ju Hounds.... I think the others were imports at too high a price.

Izzy could really do it though for sure.

I googled him and was shocked how much solo material he has put out - independent labels/distribution and under the radar. This is how he wants it. Here are the releases I found:

On the real Chinese Democracy wasn't worth the wait and compared to their other albums it just wasn't as good. That said, I'd only write them off if their "new" tour with just about the original line up manages to put out a cd and its bad. I don't consider what GNR the band was for Chinese Democracy GNR.
