DIdn't David Patten of the Patriots play his college football at WCU? Seems like I remember him being there.

Yep, he was a good one.
The Cat's real claim to fame IMOP was the kicker, can't remember his name. But a real talent.
Is anybody left in the NFL besides Hooover?

Would that be Dean Biasucci? Dean was a good one. As far as I know, Patten and Hoover are the only current active WCU alum in the NFL, but the greatest, IMO, was Clyde Simmons. GO CATS!!

Dean is also a member of the WCU Hall of Fame. BTW, David Rivers, our QB in 2000, was just signed by the Atlanta Falcons. Hope he makes it. Should be a reliable backup behin Michael Vick. GO CATS!!
