You should be able to delete a post.

You mean I can post something here without fear of the cronie 5 deleting or editing my post? No worries about the evil 34 street gang?

I can post over and over again how much I LOOOOOVE KJ and that there is nothing more to my life?

I can post about how smart tulsa teen is and that he is the greatest sports writer to ever walk the planet?

Edit this WD, CatBird, and whoever else runs the boards like a book burning session in Nazi Germany!

Wait, let me double check to make sure I'm not on TSW or rivals so I don't lose my membership there...

I guess I can keep it pretty simply to good TU sports discussions w/o the likes of the cronie gang stinking it up with their oh so objective posts. Please, nobody say anything negative about JP or TU in general (not that I really do, but you know...).

OK - I feel much better now.

I think you two are the only people here who don't like the mods we had at TSW

Admins and mods of the Tulsa board can delete posts on this board. But all mods and admins here are very much layed back. Unless it spam, it won't get deleted.

do you mean that the mods of the Rivals board are also mods here?

No..

The Admins of NCAAbbs and the mods of CUSA(MUther, umbluegray, and SouthernMissAlum) are the only ones who can delete posts. The only posts they will delete will be spam unless someone posts an all-out attack on someone.

They are mad becuase I edit posts containing curse words, delete posts that sexaully harass or threaten someone, take 5 new topics by B&G or anyone else that all say Fire "insert name here" (considered spam) and merge them into one thread.

That's all.

We allow quite a bit. Some may not like that I get in heated debates b/c they think b/c I am a moderator that means I 1) have no opinion or 2) will delete or change the debate posts to all reflect my opinion. Neither of which are true. I used to moderate under my real name (Damon Lewis) but switched so people wouldn't feel threatened if I debated with them. Some still feel that way apparently.

Also, on the "cronie 5" (ROFLMAO).

I knew NONE of these posters until a luncheon late last year. I met 5 there. I met Harmon when I called him and set up lunch to hand over the TU Beat reporting duties. The rest I met at the tailgates. EVERYONE was and is invited to the luncheons and tailgates. They were put together so the posters could put names to faces. If you chose or choose not to come it is not because you were "shut out" by the "evil 34 street gang", it is becuase you made the decision to not show up.

BTW...to the current board moderators. I apologize for rant in another post. Pike was right, I would've deleted that on my board so I shouldn't have posted it here. I let the frustration get to me and I shouldn't have.

WD - can you please find one post where I've said someone shouldn't have their job aside from Judy? My opinion is still that she could do much more to better the athletic department, and that if she was so great, she would have been hired away by a much larger school. Basketball coaches? How hard is it to make successful hire after hire when every up-and-coming coach in the world is beating down the door with resumes?

Kragthorpe - good job. Just like JP however, we'll need a few years to really tell if he can win with an entire team he signed. I think this is the best hire of Judy's tenure because he was on board for a huge turnaround and put a little life back into the program. If he can sustain it and build it, then she'll certainly receive my accolades. The point is, she as an athletic administrator should have done 1 or 2 things a long time ago for football - 1, get behind the coaches and turn the administration toward doing what is needed for success, or 2, fire the coach that is doing nothing but creating losing seasons. So as far as football goes, her inaction caused more problems than anything - Burns was certainly a hiccup for the program, but at least it wasn't allowed to go farther than it did.

PS - Merry Christmas
