You would think eight man will grow as eleven man continues to shrink. At least they're still playing football.

i really don't know a lot about 8-man football, but this really isn't a bad idea. coming from downstate, a lot of schools just don't have the numbers to safely put together a team. i'd hate for talent to never get a chance to play because it was in a place were they don't have a program.

It's been around here in Iowa for awhile now. I've never been to a game live, but I've seen the state championship game on TV a few times. It's an interesting game to say the least.
It used to be that just about all of the 8 man teams were in western Iowa but it has expanded to all over the state.
