Mueller Subpoenas Bannon - Redwingtom - 01-16-2018 12:46 PM

Buckle up?

Quote:Former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon was subpoenaed last week by special counsel Robert Mueller as part of the federal probe into Russian interference in the election, The New York Times reported Tuesday.

Bannon, who joined in the campaign in August of 2016 and left the White House almost exactly a year later, is one of the few known instances that Mueller has used a subpoena to compel information from a member of President Trump’s inner circle.

Mueller previously obtained subpoenas targeting former campaign chair Paul Manafort, who has since been charged with a slate of federal crimes, including money laundering.

Instead of Buckle-up Mueller needs to wrap it up. He has had plenty of time.

What you don't want a thorough investigation?

Hope he didn't use Fusion GPS as his basis as the FBI did to get warrants to spy.

"...I'm reporting the same. I have spoken to a number of sources, one senior law enforcement official, and another in the DOJ, and the dossier was absolutely used as part of the FBI's ability to gain a warrant to basically spy on members of the Trump campaign.

So this was definitely used as evidence. It was part and parcel to other evidence, I believe, that they were trying to collect. But the dossier was definitely used...."

Can't use that excuse forever. At some point, you'll have to admit defeat. That will be fun.

Over a year in, and all he has is a couple of process crimes with no underlying, "real" crime. That says it all. If there was really something there, he would have found it by now.

Defeat of what exactly? I think "we've" already won...lol...regardless if no direct collusion of trump himself with Russia is ever found. 03-wink

How much do you want to bet they try to stretch it through 2020?

Two scoops.
Two genders.
Two terms.

The investigations into Nixon and Clinton took years. Andrew Johnson took like days before he was Impeached. The Andrew Johnson's case was more of a witch hunt.
