Donald Trump often promised to “rebuild rural America" when he campaigned across the country during his presidential run. Exit polls showed that rural America believed him, with 62 percent of voters in small cities or rural areas backing Trump in 2016. But as we approach his one-year anniversary in office, Trump’s words on the campaign trail ring hollow as the promises he made to his base go unfulfilled. So on Monday the president traveled to Nashville, to offer up more promises to the “forgotten man” in Trump country — the biggest being a plan originally introduced by Barack Obama.

So Obama's great contribution to farmers was faster broadband access???? What a ******* joke. I don't have any sort of broadband access on my farm and I can promise you it is the least of my worries if my wife is frustrated with 4G download speeds from her unlimited cell phone plan.
Article also falsely claims that crop insurance is "the program that many farmers rely on to fund their year-to-year operations." That's patently false, and attempts to make farmers appear to need govt assistance on a continual basis rather than only when disaster strikes.

I didn't even know he had a policy for fly over country in the first place.

It wasn't meant to mislead anyone. It was meant as a joke. You see, when I hyperlink sites, there is a small group of people on this forum who actually think that I'm somehow misleading people by doing this. If find it amusing so lets just say I gave them an Easter Egg.
What I don't understand is how some people can't read an article objectively, agree or disagree with it's contents and explain why with information of their own.
What is more is that some people cannot do that and will go a step further and urge others not to read the article.
It's truly amazing.
