Both teams are athletic, physical, and well coached.

My head says Georgia wins, Alabama is too banged up.

Still ..... Alabama 24, Georgia 20

FYI, This is not he FBS National Championship, that would be a champion rewarded by the NCAA. This is the College Football Playoff National Championship.

I think Bama wins, but I am pulling for UGA

Seriously almost forgot there was a game tonight. Not on purpose and not anti-SEC or anything, but I haven't taken in the hype like I have other years' championship games.

I'll go with Georgia, 28-21.

I’ll miss the 1st half because I’ll be in a Bible study - they seriously picked today to start up again. I think Alabama will win but I’m hoping it’s Georgia.

I'm glad we finally have a championship decided on the field. ?

I honestly have no clue how this game will go. My heart says Georgia.

I'd like to see Georgia win as well. But ... it's so damn hard to pick against Saban.

Georgia 31-24, assuming they are down from their Rose Bowl high. We'll know that in the first quarter.

Good point. The focus has been on specific injuries Alabama suffered vs Clemson, but playing that double-OT Rose Bowl had to be physically, and emotionally, sapping for Georgia as well.

At this point, both teams are sapped and banged up. We'll have to see who handles it better.

27-24 Georgia. Really its a toss up for me though.

I want Alabama to lose but I fear that they will win....

Cheapest Stubhub ticket right now is $1780.

Seems like there hasn't really been much hype for this game. Is that just my perception?

Alabama will win their half of the championship

Nationally, that's my perception. Now in Atlanta it has been non-stop.

Heard it took an hour and 15 minutes to get in the stadium 90 minutes before kickoff. Cold and rainy. Think some people will miss kickoff.

We went to the SEC ccg and the new Atlanta stadium was the worst for getting into and out of I have ever been to.

RE: *** FBS National Championship (Game Thread) ... - Love and Honor - 01-08-2018 06:59 PM

Know that Bama is gonna win because I'd like to see Georgia come out on top. Personally I'm not too interested either way.

President Trump's presence could gum up the process of entering the stadium as well.

Yuck. Who cares who wins the ESPN bowl

Quo, Even though I'm not watching and don't respect the ESPN bowl I know how much you love the SEC! SEC! Great night for you. So out of respect to you, a good poster SEC SEC

It did. Secret Service pat downs were reported. Quite different than the quick purse check.
