A rising tide - vcoog - 01-01-2018 05:22 PM Lifts all boats. We have a good chance next year of doing this again, every year we prove the top of our conference can play the closer we are to getting one of us in the playoffs. This game is causing a lot of people to take notice. Combined with osu getting left out and something will change soon. RE: A rising tide - No Bull - 01-01-2018 05:27 PM The 2015 Houston Team may have been the best AAC team ever... hope you guys return to a NY6 bowl game real soon. RE: A rising tide - mustangxc - 01-01-2018 05:30 PM Ironically it is the former CUSA teams that have carried the conference in football. RE: A rising tide - pesik - 01-01-2018 05:33 PM next year might be one of the strongest g5 years as a whole fau will be a force fresno and boise are projected to be extremely good, sdsu will be a RB away from eing in the mix ucf would have been a comfortable favorite with frost..no clue how they look with a different coach..they return enough that if the standard is kept, ucf could run the table again.. Houston returns enough to be elite but the OC hire will be critical navy and memphis have a few questions but they'll be in the mix too RE: A rising tide - vcoog - 01-01-2018 05:34 PM (01-01-2018 05:27 PM)No Bull Wrote: The 2015 Houston Team may have been the best AAC team ever... hope you guys return to a NY6 bowl game real soon. No better story than winless to undefeated. Great season, liking this conference more every year. Need to get PAID. RE: A rising tide - Limebull - 01-01-2018 05:36 PM Next year will be our turn, I can almost taste it RE: A rising tide - mustangxc - 01-01-2018 05:38 PM Agreed! At this point we have wins and a platform we just need more tv money and better bowl tie-ins. Basically this year's bowl lineup should be guaranteed, not due to shuffling. We need a Georgia v Alabama Championship to make the other conferences demand an expansion to an 8 team playoff. Or...a OK-Clemson championship game to show how the SEC is living off of a 2007 reputation. RE: A rising tide - Acres - 01-01-2018 05:56 PM Which AAC team will be ranked preseason ? . RE: A rising tide - Meatwad - 01-01-2018 06:00 PM i kept hearing the words sophomore and freshman and even a few junior after a play by UCF, if that means anything they should be ranked pretty high in pre-season. Poof...your wish is granted. RE: A rising tide - The Knight Time - 01-02-2018 04:45 PM If UCF is not at the very, very least Top 15 in preseason then there's truly no hope. Yes, Frost departs, but we have an absolutely stacked roster coming back, including a QB who finished 8th in Heisman voting as just a Sophomore. The kids whipping Auburn's defense yesterday were ALL Freshman and Sophomores. Heupel is extremely competent and he has a great staff in place. We should be able to stumble our way to 50 points a game next year.
