Curious what people on here think in regard to the fact come Jan. 9 NCAA is allowing everyone to have a 10th assistant coach. How much do assignments change and what responsibilities will this new assistant have? Is there a GA or someone on staff that deserves to be elevated or do you look to add some new blood from bottom of a P5 staff, assistant from a G5 program, or someone moving up from a lower level?

I would guess it will be a minor role that doesn't pay very well. Maybe bring in someone to coach the Fullbacks and Tight Ends, so Coach U can focus solely on the offense.

Might as well hire Harnish to coach QBs at this point

I like tha harnisch idea, but who coaches our special teams? I don't see anyone listed on coaching staff page.

I thought Carey handled special teams but maybe he only handles kickers. Curious to know if that isn't the case.

Coach Sabock's son handled the Special Teams this year.

Special teams sucked all year. Punting was ok. Kicking was terrible. Might need to revamp the whole special teams. They brought that grad transfer in from Iowa Ro return kicks and he never got an opportunity. Lol.

Who's that? A grad assistant? It's probably 3rd most important assistant coach!
