Ole Miss does it again - Claw - 11-23-2017 07:56 PM

Another QB down. Looks like another broken leg.

It was gruesome. Friggin RebelBlackBearLandSharx.

Fitzgerald a big kid, tackler went low. Really low, could not tell if he speared his ankle or grabbed him low and his cleats stuck while he was hit.

Brutal. And tough to give a bearshark the benefit if the doubt. Even after being caught blatantly cheating and essentially sucking in the SEC for a whikem they still preen.

But, Moo without Fitzgerald is a possible get for the confederates. We shall see.

If rebs win they might keep luke as coach.

Injuries happen. Nothing dirty about that play. Looks like a dislocation versus a break.

No one has mentioned if the OM player was ejected or not? Clearly PF going below the knees on QB. If he speared the QB below the knees would fit into targeting parameters.

Ole Miss player scores on a pass play runs into the endzone gets down like a dog and hikes his leg like he is taking a piss.. Absolutely ridiculous.. Players are getting more and more absurd.. Show some class.. One of the reasons I quit watching the NFL was because of all the dancing and acting like idiots after a big play or TD..

So true. When one guy is holding up QB while the other is dive bombing his legs then it is a dirty play.

Pic looks like his ankle was already in trouble, but the kid was clearly not just tackling low, but going for that joint.

Shameful.

Later, a missed facemask on the bearsharks led to a fumble, then a TD for the confeds. Then things fell apart. MOo should have been more preparedness but man the loss of their QB changed that game.

RE: Ole Miss does it again - Tiger87 - 11-23-2017 10:15 PM

I watched the play about 10 times. I hate Old Miss. But that didn't seem like a dirty play at all. Foot stuck in the turf and he got rolled. He's 6'5". Most tackles are going to be low.

No, the Old Miss guy was not ejected. QB had tucked and run, so he was a RB at that point. No protection rules.

RE: Ole Miss does it again - Mimi - 11-23-2017 10:17 PM

A later play did indeed see a sharkbear launch helmet to helmet at the backup.

With any minimal success, they turn into Freeze thugs.

Used to be a time when sports built character. Today it exposes the lack of character. Too many people who have no concept of class.

Wasn't even thinking about going for a tackle. He had his forearm up in preparation to impact the knee or lower leg. Do not know how anyone can defend this. You do not have your forearm up and ready to impact like that if you are trying to tackle.

His head is down too. It was a cheap shot point blank.

Seems so.

However, didn't his right ankle break?
