That's terrific. Congratulations, Eagles!

For non p5 home-and-homes, this is about as good as it gets. I'm excited!

RE: Non-conference future games - AppinVA - 11-19-2017 08:21 PM

Don't some conferences count BYU as a P5?

I know the ACC does

RE: Non-conference future games - Atlanta Trojan - 11-19-2017 09:40 PM

We Open our season next year with Boise State at home. Will also be the first time we have a game with a finished Endzone expansion... probably a new attendance record

App will be announcing some pretty impressive stuff in the near future.

No real significant teams on the schedule here. Just a lot of regional G5's. We're in a weird part of our scheduling now where there's not much scheduled outside of a long term series with Memphis.

2018:
@ Alabama
@ Tulsa
vs SEMO
vs UNLV

2019:
@ Georgia
@ UNLV
vs SMU

2020:
@ Memphis
vs Tulsa

2021:

vs Memphis
vs Central Arkansas (Looking this way)

2022:

@ Memphis

2023

vs Memphis

2024

@ Iowa State

2025

vs Iowa State

Love our 2018 OOC schedule

Boise State (at Home)

@Nebraska (winnable)

@Liberty

Vs Presbyterian

Presbyterian is going to announce a move to non-scholarship football and the Pioneer League over 3-4 year period. I believe Hampton is taking their place in the BS.

Better hope they don't get Scott Frost.

They won't be anemic for very long if he's there.

BYU and BSU are great additions. Good to see GS have a nice turn to their scheduling.

RE: Non-conference future games - EigenEagle - 11-20-2017 11:03 AM

At the risk of stoking the embers of this debate again....it's really funny how these games seem to have just materialized after we get off to an 0-9 start...

Or maybe Tom Kleinlein has called these ADs and told them we're going in a different direction with our offense. *shudder*

Yes sir, Master Obi Wan Kenobi; the all knowing, all seeing, never telling App news source that doesn't provide any actual news.

Go out and seek what it is you desire; I know exactly where it is, but I cannot tell you.

RE: Non-conference future games - MobileBama1 - 11-20-2017 04:25 PM

South Alabama's OOC schedule is set through 2022 (1 money and 3 "winnable" each season)

I would love to see a Michigan, BYU, Colorado, Wyoming, etc. for travel purposes. Not a lot of interesting/exciting travel opportunities (I went to Nebraska last year and enjoyed it but wouldn't go back)

2018:
09/01 - Louisiana Tech
09/08 - at Oklahoma State
09/22 - at Memphis
10/13 - Alabama State

2019:
08/31 - at Nebraska
09/07 - Jackson State
09/14 - Memphis
09/21 - at UAB

2020:
09/05 - at Southern Miss
09/12 - Grambling State
09/19 - at Florida
09/26 - UAB

2021:
09/04 - Southern Miss
09/11 - at Bowling Green
09/18 - at Tennessee
09/25 - Alcorn State

2022:
09/03 - Western Illinois
09/10 - at Central Michigan
09/17 - at UCLA
09/24 - Bowling Green

2023:
09/09 - Central Michigan
09/16 - at Oklahoma State

PC hasn't made it official but we expect it. Hampton is moving into the BSC as a full member along with USC upstate (no football). It's a smart move by the conference to protect itself.
