As we learned last night, no game is a given victory.
We lack experience at the D1 level and with each other, lack adequate talent, and suspectable to other detrimental factors that might arise (eg Tubby losing the team like last year). Also, Tulane and UAB (penciled in wins) are better than last year. A losing season is likely at this point barring improvement.

I really stink at predicting how many games we might win based on a 2-game sample...I'm much better at hindsight. That said, I feel pretty confident that if last year's team had gotten down to UALR by 14 points in the first half, they would've given up and lost the game. It was nice to see this year's team fight back and not give up.

It took a career game from Martin to beat UALR. I still think we are a 12 to 16 win team.

Whatever, this team lost to Ouachita the other night. At least we can say we're slightly better the D2 Ouachita.

UALR lost to Ouchita Baptist at home. We had to scratch and claw from a double-digit defeicit at home to beat UALR.
No game is a guaranteed win.

The team will getter much better as the year goes on and with a 10 win non conference record we could get to 18-20 wins. It won't be easy but has any games the last seven years been easy..... they are all good teams. Hey isn't UK 0-1

The kids played a terrible first half. They should not attempt any 3 pt shooting for the next few games.
At least some guys were driving to the basket in sec half.
Deer in headlights look still there for most of the players.
Guess the Ala guys spooked them
Martin came alive in sec half. Wonder if got some of Tubby's stuff in the locker room.
