Memphis moved up one spot to #21 in College Playoff Ranking... - Julian - 11-14-2017 09:58 PM

While #15 UCF gets disrespected by #5 Wisconsin...

Still no USF, and Boise is in at 25 with 2 losses.

But hey it’s good to know that if you barely beat the low hanging fruit in your conference (nc st 17 bc 14), that makes you worthy of jumping 4 spots in the poll.

True but it really doesn't matter...all we have to do is win 3

No matter. Can't get caught up in all that. We all know the Tigers have win out for the BIG dream to come true. Right now, concentrate on beating SMU. Let's not get sidetracked.

By being ranked, we already have the committee's attention

I really don't get the UCF-Wisconsin debate. Twitter is lighting up about it. I guess Wisconsin played a crap OOC. But is it their fault the Big 10 is down?

On a side note, http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/big-ten/wisconsin-badgers.php
has Wisky always played such a weak OOC?

Win out and it'll all take care of itself. You want the ONE SPOT, gotta earn it. Can't lay an egg vs SMU or UCF.

ITs not that the B10 is down (although it is as a whole). They play in the crap division of the B10, played the crap B10 teams in the other division in crossover, and played a crap OOC. (BYU should have been a good OOC opponent, but this year they arent, so their entire OOC is crap.)

Had Wisconsin played their 2021 OOC schedule this year, they would likely have 3 losses at this point.

They still need to hope they dont get 70 hung on them by Michigan.

Awful OOC. I think they beat Michigan big. Harbaugh is headed for another 4th place finish in his own division.

Memphis ranked above Michigan and Stanford! Let that soak in for a minute.

Those two schools are dripping with tradition and have literally $10 billion in the bank. Its a great time for Tiger football.

Miss State comes from behind to beat a 7 loss Arkansas team and moves up two spots. LSU beats a 7 loss Tennessee team and moves up 2 spots. South Carolina beats the Wolford Terriers and moves from unranked to 23. Gotta love the $EC. Boise State moves to within 3 spots.

There are those who believe that the AAC cannot stand alone with three teams in the playoff polls while no other G5 conference has any.

Also why is it that the G5 winner only has access to either the Peach or Cotton Bowl. The two of the 6 contract bowl with smaller payouts. I think the G5 team should be given access to one of the top 4 bowls. The ones that payout $18 million per team instead of $4 million or less. The G5 team and it's conference are being screwed out of at least $14 millions by this omission.

Wisconsin has a better SOS than Bama, fwiw.
