Im curious who the league looks for when they see bowl projections.

6 win SEC
9 win AAC
9 win MWC
10 win MAC

Definitely, absolutely NOT any six-win P5, let alone SEC. This year has been all about overcoming our deficiencies on the O-line (what's new?). An SEC team of any caliber in a bowl game, I think, would spell disaster for Georgia State.

I'd take ANY team from the MAC, AAC, MWC or C-USA before SEC.

A 6 win MAC or CUSA school, anyone better would embarrass us on national TV at this point........still need to become bowl eligible first.

I just want NMSU to be in a bowl game. We haven’t gone bowling since 1960 and making a bowl game would be like playing in the national championship for devoted followers.

At this point, I am thinking that what I think won't make a difference. The choices are out of my hands. However, it would be nice to have a competitive game.

Jerry Palm at CBS Sportsline has GSU vs UAB in the Independence Bowl in Shreveport because SEC and ACC will not have enough teams to fill those slots. I do not know the Independence Bowl payout, but if it is targeting SEC and ACC, I assume it is better than the Cure Bowl.
