Week 11 projected CFB Rankings - otown - 11-05-2017 06:53 AM

Lots of room for UCF to move up. However, more interesting is all the teams behind UCF that lost. Literally every single team between UCF and Memphis lost. Plus WSU lost as well at 25. Only team that won was MSU who was one slot behind Memphis.

WSU beat Stanford

Brain fart

RE: Week 11 projected CFB Rankings - Atlanta - 11-05-2017 08:30 AM

It will be a real biased shame if any 3-loss school stays ahead of Memphis. No justification except bias could have that happen.

You know WSU is gonna jump because of the Stanford win. MSU jumping will be pathetic though, it it will probably happen.

UCF should settle at around 12 if you go by records and power rankings. Of course that will not be case. Probably 15.

RE: Week 11 projected CFB Rankings - SublimeKnight - 11-05-2017 10:12 AM

Memphis out of the top25 and UCF drops to 25, because for another week they refused to play a p5 team.

RE: Week 11 projected CFB Rankings - otown - 11-05-2017 10:18 AM

Well, realistically Memphis should move forward at least 4, but WSU and MSU gonna jump so 2 it is. Wild card is any P5 that may have been sitting just outside top 25 jumping just because they are P5 and happened to win a game.

RE: Week 11 projected CFB Rankings - HuskyU - 11-05-2017 10:21 AM

It all depends on the Big Ten. How far do Ohio State/Penn St fall and how high does Michigan St rise?

I'll go with:

14. UCF
20. Memphis
25. USF (as a result of their big win at UCONN)

UCF needs to stop refusing to play all those p5's.....oh wait

RE: Week 11 projected CFB Rankings - HuskyU - 11-05-2017 10:31 AM

Poor SFSU. His one decent win will no longer be Top 25.

Yep. I think Memphis will be #21. UCF maybe #15. USF not in.

Interesting. By that logic, neither Memphis, nor Houston, and certainly not South Florida have quality wins. Then the moment Memphis loses to someone/anyone, ICF won't have a quality win either. Thus, not a single AAC team has a quality win. Funny how that works.

Apparently ASU is not going to go 3-9, and Stanford won't go 6-6. I guess that is good.

Toledo will be in this week...if not, then after this week... If not, then the following... If not, drop to FCS and win the national championship.

You need new material. All that stuff is irrelevant now. SDSU is out.

You're like the whack-a-mole that we knock unconscious, and then somehow, when you least expect it, he drags himself back up out of the hole for one more try.

Arizona is better tha arizona st, who still isnt bowl eligible, stanford will lose two more games, and sdsu will probably lose one more. Memphis will probably be high enough after winning out to not drop in the championship if they lose, we'll see where usf ends up this week but a good chance they could hold in the top 25 after the ucf game if they lose. Ucf will be high enough that if they lose one they will still be top 25. Navy beating notre dame would get them in. Houston has two good wins and could go 9-3 or 8-4.

Meanwhile in the midgets win conference. . .

Memphis:

ESPN Power Index: 37

USF:

Sagarin: 38

We have some solid programs within the AAC but our best wins OOC are.

P5

UCLA: 4-5 (2-4) PAC 12 (Memphis)
Maryland: 4-5 (2-4) B1G (UCF)
Illinois 2-7 (0-6) B1G (USF)
Arizona 6-3 (4-2) PAC 12 (Houston)

Indy

Army 7-2
BYU 2-8

We all (Including Memphis) need to consider scheduling more quality. It's like we're going for the SEC/ACC type schedule but we don't have the quality within the conference to pull it off...

RE: Week 11 projected CFB Rankings - Nevadanatural - 11-05-2017 01:36 PM

Tulsa will be playing Arkansas and Texas next season but they will need to improve greatly in order to pull off wins against those two.
