Tulsa road trip - TigersRuleAll - 10-29-2017 08:48 PM In case some have forgotten, we do have a game Friday night. Tulsa is an easy 6 hour drive, and weather forecast looks ideal. There's no reason we shouldn't have a bunch of Tigers in the stadium Friday night. RE: Tulsa road trip - TG4 - 10-29-2017 08:50 PM Six hours from where? RE: Tulsa road trip - ncrdbl1 - 10-29-2017 08:53 PM Do they still have the area of nothing but native American bars? Last time we went my brother wanted to get a few drinks after the game. Since i was designated driver i stayed in truck. He walked into one and everyone just turned and looked at him as if to say son you are in the wrong place. I would love to go, but my wife's health won't permit us to travel. You can stay at my place for $50. We also have hotels in Tulsa. Might be a bit cleaner and safer than my place... RE: Tulsa road trip - DallasTiger - 10-30-2017 08:38 AM I went to a game there a few years ago. The seats that were designated for Memphis fans were not that bad. I think we were on about the 20 or 25 yard line and not too far up. It is not a huge stadium, so they really can't stick opposing fans in a bad area. We had to walk through their tailgating area which was interesting. Their fans were nice to us. Wish I could go but my wife's health situation does not allow it at this time. I believe the stadium only seats around 30,000 so there are no bad seats. However, I just bought mine late last week and there were still plenty of really good seats available. Sorry you having to miss the game and I wish your wife the best! Couple the fact that Tulsa is 2-7 and high school football is HUGE in Oklahoma, and you'll be able to sit wherever you want for this game. 30,000 seat stadium. Probably have a crowd around 10,000.
