No Gametracker or equivalent. Irritating.

Most goals ever scored in a game versus someone besides Texas Southern.

North Texas beats Charlotte, 2-1.

Wow 7-2. I didn’t think you could score that many points in soccer. I bet this will turn some heads in the rankings. I guess we need to win one more game to win the Conference championship. A great accomplishment after some lean years.

Lean years? We won the conference championship three years ago. More than you can say for our “football” team.

So true. It's been four years for football.

So THIS is what it's like to be top 25?

Go Rice!

North Texas has played one less conference game than us (they couldn't play FIU due to the hurricane) so a win over Charlotte gets us the regular season title and #1 seed in the conference tournament. We've never won an outright regular season conference title in our program history (we shared a title once and twice won the conference tournament).

North Texas and FIU are making that game up on 10/29.

Also, don't we still have a game left at North Texas, which will likely determine the regular season championship?

If UNT is making up that game, then yes we will need at least a tie vs them to determine the conference regular season winner (or a Rice win and UNT loss this weekend).
