I think GT is the better team. And while the GT offense doesn't make many mistakes, almost every single mistake they've made so far has been as costly as you could possibly imagine. GT plays crappier than usual against Richt. GT plays crappier than usual in Coral Gables. Miami is primed for a FSU hangover. Miami is missing their starting RB, CB, and Safety.

Flip a coin.

I'm guessing with a GT off week, GT will surprise the Canes with several opening passes as the "U" is certainly preparing for the run attack, then GT go to their bread and butter.

GTS, GT played one hell of a game and has a tremendous option running attack. It's Miami rather than GT that is the better team. With last second comeback drives against FSU and now GT, this is a different team than the last 20 years of Miami teams. This team is different and Coach Richt is the best fit for the "U". If the kicker had executed the onside kick, the outcome would have likely been even more so in Miami's favor. Great game, and with 3 top 10 teams losing, we can expect Miami to be ranked 7th or better.

Both teams looked like garbage if you ask me.

VT is going to wax both of us.

Absolutely agreed. Canes deserved to win this game by fighting to come back and make things work on offense when nothing was going right. Defense stepped up in the rain and stopped Ga Tech and Rosier & Co. overcame (really horrible) penalties.

No, VT will not "wax" Miami. The Syracuse and VT games will be tough test for the Canes. Richt has Miami playing great ball. Miami was lucky to get that 4th down juggle catch. GT, with an exceptional triple option offense that will secure conference wins, but not play for a Nat Championship with that offense. To restrictive. I would also feel frustrated with the option offense.

Glad I got my tickets (plane & game) to the UNC game. Looking forward to it...

They look bad this year, so I think we will blow them out. Hope so.

This was a good game, I hate that GT lost... I think Miami can give Clemson a run at the ACC title..

Hope so! I guess we will know more against Cuse. We have lost more starters (I think?) than Clemson, but having SU at home will be a huge advantage.

Right on the money. #11 playing an unranked team at home needs a last second field goal to win by 1 is about as close as it gets.

GT played a very strong game. The "live by the run game, die by the run game" philosophy of GT places all of the emphasis on one aspect of the game. When Miami began using their bubble screens one after the other, picking up 5+ yards per play, it changed the defense scheme of GT, which up to that point had been strong. Miami marched down the field running the same play over and over. And the sudden rain storm gave the advantage to Miami and slowed down the running attach of GT with the slick field. Kudos to GT for a well played game and they will represent the ACC well in a post season bowl.

Do you truly believe if Miami and GT played 15 times that either team would be 8-7? I don't think so. GT's advantage is they are so proficient in the option, that so few teams successfully have as their offense, they dominate with time of possession, plays run, and keep the other team off the field. If any top 25 team had predominate run multiple option opponents they would learn to defend the offense better.
