Not necessarily. I've had the same problems with graininess going in and out with ESPN 1 streams as much as I've had with ESPN 3 games.

They obviously still haven't fully dedicated themselves to support the online streaming yet.

speaking on BeIN........i wonder if this will have any effects on future tv contracts:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/soccer/2017/10/12/world-cup-bribery-case-opened-against-psg-president-valcke/106551570/

ENEVA (AP) — The Qatari president of one of Europe's most glamorous soccer clubs, Paris Saint-Germain, is under investigation by Swiss prosecutors for suspected bribery of a top FIFA executive to get World Cup broadcasting rights.

Criminal proceedings against Nasser Al-Khelaifi, PSG president and CEO of Qatar-owned BeIN Media Group, former FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke, and an unnamed "businessman in the sports rights sector" was announced by the office of Switzerland's attorney general on Thursday

Stadium is a joke - Ragu - 10-12-2017 04:08 PM

It got grainy when I watched fau vs middle Tennessee on replay too

It's pretty second rate to have a NFL player interview instead of the game uploaded ..

Even worse that I told them about it and they answered on it. And it's still not fixed 3 days later

It's a junk setup. Nobody knows about fn stadium except us because we have the worst tv deal in fbs football

Maybe it's the device you are watching on or your internet....

I just watched the Western vs Ball St game and it was clear as any streaming I viewed on line. While it was playing and Ball St had the ball I watched another stream and when I clicked back to the Western game it was not as clear. Shut down a couple programs I was running and it cleared right up.

Just checked it on the FAUMiddle game and clear picture. The attachment is a capture [attachment=9127]

Stadium is a joke - Ragu - 10-12-2017 06:18 PM

Did you watch the entire game? I clearly said got grainy. Never said at all times. It had some issues just like espn3 ones people complained about

I know how to use technology. There's no need to make excuses for this joke of tv deal setup in this conference

Agree with this. None of my friends (that aren't blazer fans) can you tell you what the heck Stadium and Bein Sports are.

RE: Stadium is a joke - ThreeifbyLightning - 10-12-2017 07:17 PM

I never had any loss in picture quality with Stadium. It happens often with Watch ESPN.

Who's making excuses? Seems to me you are the one person complaining about picture quality.

As far as the picture goes...this conference TV deal has nothing to do with that. One thing I would bet on. Crappy TV deal or not, FAU football is being shown on some type of media more than it ever has before.

I'm welling to bet FAU has less than 7 games (conference games) shown on espn3 or espn, espn2, espnu in the 13 years since the program was started.

Guess what this TV deal is based off the MEMBERS of the conference. Maybe just maybe if more of these schools actually won every now and then....

someone would care.

But as far as Stadium/Twitter/Facebook....

you can bet the farm everyday people probably knows how to get there than to espn3. So what is it..the picture? Or being on a site people can't find? With over 2 billion users vs espn3's few million. Here's another reason espn3 is not interested in CUSA.....

schools like FAU put out a ****** production. Yes I know this game was at ODU. But till the members of CUSA up grade their production. You have nothing to complain about. At least you have a outlet to watch your team play. It's not CUSA's fault you had other things to do at the time they showed the game.

Freaking people ***** and whine about everything.,..even when that are a huge part of the problem. Nothing is ever good enough for them.

Why do you have to know what something is to watch a game on it? If a person really wanted to see the game it's not that hard to find out where it's on. Maybe your friends just aren't bright enough or don't really care?

It's not someone else responsibility to find it for them. Like espn3...it's only a click away. If I want to see something it's up to me to put in the effort to find out where it's being shown.

Some people act like their programs are household names that every game has been shown on TV for years and years. Send your family & friends the below link. Then they don't have any excuse. But my guess is if they aren't really fans...they don't give a **** about watching it anyways.

Stadium is a joke - Ragu - 10-12-2017 07:53 PM

Except I can't watch the game because this 2nd rate steaming channel uploaded a NFL player interview instead

So yeah that's pretty crappy to have that still not fixed 3 days after I informed them. And I don't expect it fixed because it's garbage coverage and they don't care

RE: Stadium is a joke - WKUYG - 10-12-2017 08:06 PM

Don't blame others because you chose to do something else when the game aired. That has zero to do with this 2nd rate TV deal or station. Your choice, and yours only. I guess you could ask for a refund.

Could be the impact of people cutting the cord and a huge increase in app usage putting stress on their systems. Who knows.

One fan makes me detest WKU almost as much as Ole Miss, Alabama, or one of those bastard AAC schools.

Tractor saleman no one cares about you or who you detest. Honestly do you really think that makes a freaking difference to anyone? I already read all about you on the old S. Miss board. I bet a lot of hardworking farmers detest you. But You left out something...

those mean SEC officials that always cheat you out of a win.

Some of you people are always looking to blame someone else. If you really wanted to be honest about this TV deal....

I know it's hard to accept...no one want to see S. Miss. No one wants to see Western. No one wants to see FAU. No one wants to see Marshall. No one wants to see UTEP. No one wants to pay money to see any of our schools play and hell we cant even give it away to espn...for a lot of you. Your school needs to upgrade production it's not even high enough for espn3. It has nothing to do with who's running this conference today. As for not being on espn that belongs to the old commissioner of CUSA and backing out of the espn deal to sign with Fox. Then that deal running out and Fox no longer interested.

Hell the S. Miss fan that posted above you...is always looking for a free site to watch a game. Never goes to home games.

That's about what 50% if not more of all fans on here. They don't go to home games and so freaking cheap to pay see their team play. If what are supposedly hardcore fans only want to see free content...you should be very happy someone, anyone is will to show it. Every school in this conference in 2015 or 2016 had more game available to watch from their home than any other year. That's a cold hard fact.

I'm sure there's a hard working farmer that hasn't met you yet but will detest you once they do. Yeah, I read all about you.

all the WKU fans make me feel that way. hilarious seeing them in shock, as they come to the slow painful realization that their football program is actually a joke to the rest of FBS football.

No clue what they're paying. But at least the product is better than beIN or w/e that was

beIN has amazing broadcast quality. Granted access is usually in a sports pack, but no sound cut-outs, no back to the action 10 minutes after play resumes, decent announcers, and crisp HD picture. I don't think they have an inferior product to anyone. Access is the only problem with beIN, but anyone that has Directv sports pack, which is about any sports fan with Directv, has beIN.

RE: Stadium is a joke - HerdAlum83 - 10-13-2017 12:28 AM

The stadium broadcasts that have been done via Facebook have been fantastic. I watched our opener vs Miami on it and I watched the USM/UTSA game on it and both broadcasts were far better than the ESPN3 broadcast of our game with Cincy. Now ESPN3 beats the damn socks off of CuSA.tv
