This might the year you don't want high profile recruits in basketball. Over/Under on how long Louisville can stay clean after the FBI investigation ...6 months

I like USF's class.

Everyone from Cincinnati and below has one recruit so far. Hopefully we can improve.

We're working on a PG for 2018 who is ranked anywhere between #24 and #75, more or less, IIRC. We seem to have recently turned the corner and perhaps became the favorite with Tyler Harris.

I think a clearer picture will emerge after the early signing period, but UConn and others are off to a good start.

Between the Major 7 basketball conferences there are 87 schools. So far I'm liking what I see in recruiting, but if we can get to the point where every team in the conference finishes with a top 100 class with 6-8 teams in the top 50 and 2-3 in the top 25 that would be awesome.

agreed. The interview with Harris' dad after the in home visit was encouraging. I still cant believe that was the first time Coach Harris had met Tubby. That's outrageous.

I have been very impressed with Coach Gregory so far

If WSU can land a couple more they are targeting, it should bump them up a little. We will see what happens. It is a VERY important class for WSU.

RE: 2018 AAC Basketball Recruiting Rankings - SHOCK_value - 10-02-2017 04:30 PM

WSU should theoretically be lower on the list, because one of the players listed for WSU's 2018 class at 247 actually reclassified to 2017 and is on our campus and roster right now. Not that it matters in the slightest with regards to the eventual net talent on the team.

The bar has been set very low. It would be truly hard for Gregory to disappoint.

247 does know that WSU is no longer in the MVC correct?

RE: 2018 AAC Basketball Recruiting Rankings - jdgaucho - 10-02-2017 05:30 PM

Out on the west coast, my UC Santa Barbara Gauchos have had a couple notable recruiting battles vs AAC members this year.

pg Logan Johnson picked Cincy over us, UCLA and Saint Mary's.

pf Amadou Sow picked us over Wichita State and Tulane amongst others.

Beating out Penn State & VCU for a basketball recruit is progress for ECU.
