Saturday will be the 100th game played for ODU football. I think we should be thankfull at what this program has accomplished in such a short amount of time. I remember like it was yesterday playing our first game against div. 2 Chowan (Chew Wahn). And now look at us a home game against the Tarheels of UNC Chapel Hill. Has there been any team that has progressed as fast as us? If so, not many. I also think we have been pretty fortunate to keep the same coaching staff together for these last 8 going on 9 years. Let's hope fans realize this monumental milestone and show up in droves to SB Ballard stadium on Sept. 16th to root on the Monarchs.

I would be smiling even if we had a program like Georgia State. Any football is better than no football. And I have been around the U for 30 years without football. The fact that we are Old Dominion good is a bonus.

AAAND... We've got more wins against Div I opponents than (VA fb powerhouses) JMU and W&M combined.
