Getting to Know Austin Peay - CliftonAve - 08-29-2017 12:30 PM

Here are a couple articles from the newspaper in Clarksville.

Sounds as if they have a very athletic, elusive QB and a shifty RB with hands. They return most of their lineup from last year but they are going to supplement/upgrade it with several JUCO transfers.

The terms "athletic," "elusive," and "shifty" are relative. I doubt this guy is as athletic and elusive as Teddy Bridgewater or Munchie Legaux.

Is it good news when you return lots of starters from a crappy team?

That could also apply to us.

About to say, stones in glass houses. I think the talent and staff are more than enough for this one though. In general, players improve as they get older. If you have more young blood behind them to reinforce the talent pool, I can only imagine you'll get better. Granted, I don't recall much about the previous recruiting class.

As a somewhat off topic note, the liquidation site I use to acquire equipment and cheap electronics, has a listing from Austin Peay for an entire pilot plant. Not sure if there are any chemical engineers on the board or maybe just manufacturers of "No-counter-at-all" drugs but for $100,000, this baby can be yours.(provided you bid in the next 42 hours)

if we lose to a team who has 1 TOTAL win in 4 years.. then the cupboard was even emptier than i expected.. losers of 27 straight.. reminds me of Army a decade-ish ago... sorry no disrespect.. but this game shouldn;t be close

Army may not be the best example to cite seeing as UC was about the only opponent in their CUSA tenure Army seemed to have any success against.

But I do agree with you.

Craig is looking an awful lot like Bridgewater out there
