Prayers for our friends in Houston - Westhoff123 - 08-27-2017 11:11 AM

It was horrible my power just came back after 8 hours. We had 26 inches of rain!

RE: Prayers for our friends in Houston - BigHouston - 08-27-2017 11:32 AM

Rain won't stop keeps pouring down... This is unbelievable.

Our home is in a high point area and we have not lost power as of yet, thank God.

Prayers to those whose homes are ruined and find themselves literally homeless.

I live in the Mayerland area of Houston. The whole area is under water. But so far, thank god, my house is ok.

Man it is looking bad there in Houston..... I hope the situation is taken care of as competently as possible by your leadership, and damage and casualties are kept as minimal as possible. I hope our conference, its fans and leadership helps in whatever way we can.

Those rainfall totals are unheard of. The average has been 40 inches. Some local totals have been at 50. I've never heard of such numbers. They really need both divine and human intervention on a major scale.

This is shaping up to be WORSE than Katrina.

RE: Prayers for our friends in Houston - BullsFanInTX - 08-27-2017 03:07 PM

I'm not sure why a mandatory evacuation order wasn't given Thursday though. It's not like folks weren't being warned
