Did he really call UCF's stadium "Bright Hose"?

RE: 5 AAC Stadiums contend for best in the G5 - BearcatJerry - 08-21-2017 10:55 PM

Not to mention his list is absolute CRAP when he gives Sam Boyd...widely acknowledged as an absolute crap-hole...an "honorable mention."

And Toledo's Glass Bowl is clearly the best of the MAC, though Ohio's stadium out on the banks of the Hocking is a really cool little stadium as well.

Absolute waste of time listening to this moron.

Can't have it both ways guys.

What makes a college football stadium great? Is it the structure itself? That would put NFL stadiums like USF and Temple use or brand new stadiums like Houston or Tulane have near the top of the list. Is it the environment? That would put places like Cincinnati, ECU and UCF closer to the top. History? Navy football is something special. Tulsa opened their stadium in 1930.

All 3, but to me environment is the most important. Michigan and ND's stadium isn't fancy but the environment and history make it special. UF isn't impressive, but it is large and loud.

But then, that's not the stadium, it's the fan base.

If he said "The Top 10 Game day experiences," then I would agree.

There is no way ECU's stadium in 2018 after this year's expansion and renovation doesn't make it. By no metric.

Top stadium in AAC.

Stadium?, what really is a stadium:
How big does a chair have to be to become a bench ?
When does a bench become a bleacher ? And so on and on until you have a stadium
At what point does an umbrella become a gazebo
How big does a pond have to be to be called a lake ?

LoL @ anyone taking stock in this list. The guy used google images, and looked at other peoples' rankings. He hasn't been to any of them.

Who cares. I know we have a legit college football stadium and atmosphere unlike most of it conference mates. No G4 teams even come close to a real college football atmosphere
