Yep. Not much we on this board can do about that. If it is a big deal to the JMU AA that fans wear a certain color for a road game - like they prescribe as a promotion for several home games - then it will be far more effective if some kind of message comes from them. Of course, just this past weekend I saw a tweet from JMU Sports advising "START WEARING PURPLE" in context of the opener at ECU, so promoting blending in with the home opposing crowd must be their strategy...I guess. Odd.
Your estimate of only 10% of the JMU fans in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium following this board makes complete sense to me. This board doesn't have to be the way it is. It is simply allowed to be the way it is. That percentage would be and is far greater elsewhere. The main fan message board(s) have the ability to drive behavior and get the word out (quickly and effectively) with or without the support of the AA.

Maybe JMU nation is approaching this from the wrong perspective. A smattering of white, gold or purple, what's the difference? No one will really stand out.

Funny you should mention that. Pretty sure the Team Mom's are doing a special red shirt or something to stand out.
Not a big white tee fan, but it is truly going to be triple digit temps down there that day and every little bit helps.
