DeAndre Haynes, who left Toledo two months ago to be an assistant coach at Illinois State, has just been hired to be an assistant for John Beilein at Michigan. I'm sure he was thinking that going to the Missouri Valley would help lead to a power conference job, but I'm guessing he didn't think it would happen in two months!

Strange hiring for sure by UM IMO. DeAndre has either been very strategic or lucky. Michigan's staff is certainly very much a work in progress. Will have to wait to see the impact on the program.
