Our Former Football Coach Has A New Job - CliftonAve - 07-19-2017 01:40 PM

Coach Tubs got a job- he will be calling games for ESPN on their various stations.

Have to think he will be butchering a lot of names on the 4 letter network.

I sure he will share a lot of insight and wisdom. After all, look at his credentials ... oh, never mind, I didn't think that one through.

If you had 16 seconds or less for his first mention of golf on an ESPN network, you're a winner.

He'll do fine as long as there's a teleprompter so he can remember people's names.

Got a job.

Went to Hell.

Sometimes I would watch the John Cooper show on Sundays, when he was the coach at OSU. When reviewing replays with the host he would say stuff like, "yeah number 42 right there that was a great play". These were his own players of course.

Don't worry. Tubs will do half of our games. Especially the home ones.

He's 5 years to late.

If one of the teams is up by two touchdowns with 5 minutes to go, does Tubs get to throw in the towel and leave the booth early?

Keep him the frick away from our games please!

I imagine he will mainly call SEC games, since that's the only place he still has a modicum of respect.

And that's only because he can beat most of them at golf...

By the way, TT must really want to get away from his wife...

I imagine he's been sleeping on the couch for awhile now.

He's had more practice at golfing than coaching apparently...

What's a good app for syncing up live radio to live television in case he ends up doing one of our games? I don't think I could honestly listen to him call a UC game without going into a fit of rage.
