See he's nominated for watch list. He's gotten a lot of recognition in 2 years and seems more is coming.
Is it to early to assess for pro prospects?

Might be too small. Seems to me he is several lbs south of 300. The NFL likes much bigger linemen. But, I might be wrong.

He's listed right now at 6'4", 285. Seems he's got time to gain 15-20 lbs, maybe more.

The average NFL center is 6-3 295 ish. Hes listed at 6-3 285

It all depends on 2 things, desire and the ability to stay healthy. I think he will get good coaching here at Old Dominion and it's up to him for the rest. Here's hoping that he gets a shot!

Jeff Saturday made a nice career snapping for Peyton Manning at about 290. Centers don't have to be 300 plus.

I remember the '99 Bucs had a pretty small D line. Guys were super quick. I suppose if the player is talented enough they can make up for their size.
No reason why a center has to be huge. Might be regulated to long snapper though. If he's skilled enough maybe he can move over and be a pulling guard?

Keep in mind he is only a junior so its likely a little too early to answer this question. At 6'4' and 285 as a junior, I don't see size being a problem. I think we can all agree that at this point, he is heading the right direction. I think there is a good chance that he will be getting a very close look his senior year, but right now, he is the 25th ranked center for the 2020 draft by nfldraftscout.com

I agree with the majority of the sentiments. Nick has done an admirable job, but I think his size and athleticism at the position are going work against him. No way he gets drafted, but he will get a shot in a camp, similar to Josh Mann. He will need to really impress in his limited opportunities in order to make a team.
