Some rumblings maybe the Hawkeyes on the schedule too? Dec 29th is a date that has been tossed around but nothing official. Marquette, Iowa State, Iowa, yikes!

NIU is at Iowa on the 29th and Green Bay is supposed to be coming to DeKalb but I don't know exactly when.

If Green Bay comes to Dekalb and you have those 3 big away games, thats a decent schedule. Love to see when NIU can get games against Horizon and MVC teams at home

4-5 road games against power5 conference schools is the way for NIU to schedule. It will help in recruiting and Monty's job seems to be pretty secure. In the end he's going to be judged by MAC games anyway. Schedule 7-9 home non conference games against whoever, nobody seems to care anyway. If your going to schedule Iowa schools then recruit Iowa players otherwise try and schedule Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan power5 schools. Huskies seem to recruit and have success recruiting those three states.
